YJAR is a small-production Rioja from Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza. The 2019 combines native grape varieties in a poised red with fragrant complexity and fine-grained structure.

Sage, thyme, dried flowers and incense lift vivid raspberry and sour-cherry fruit. The palate combines delicate aromatics with depth and tension, supported by abundant, finely grained tannins.
Drawn from 3.8 hectares of selected Remelluri plots in Rioja Alavesa. The 2019 includes Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano alongside other local varieties, and matured for thirty months in barrels of different sizes and large wooden vats.
