1701's Brut Nature offers a fresh, precise expression of Franciacorta, built around Chardonnay with Pinot Nero adding shape and depth. Bottle fermentation and time on the lees bring a gentle creaminess to this dry sparkling wine, made without a finishing sugar dosage.

Aromas of stone fruit and citrus peel mingle with delicate blossom and brioche. Fine bubbles carry a rounded palate, with fresh acidity balancing the fruit and lees-derived richness. The finish is dry, clean and lightly savoury.
Based in Cazzago San Martino, 1701 works vineyards on Franciacorta's glacially derived soils. The estate's name recalls the first recorded wine from its historic Brolo vineyard in 1701. The modern project began in 2011 and follows organic and biodynamic principles. Brut Nature draws on several estate parcels and combines Chardonnay with Pinot Nero.
