Toast, brioche and stone fruit mingle with verbena, vanilla cream and rum-soaked pastry aromas. The palate is creamy and generous, with peach, ripe citrus and pine-nut nuances, finishing with crisp, mouthwatering lemon freshness.
Created in the tradition established by Joseph Krug, the 173rd edition blends 150 wines dating from 2001 to 2017. Reserve wines contribute thirty-one per cent of the blend. Pinot Noir leads, supported by Chardonnay and Meunier, bringing several harvests together into a single expression of the house's blending philosophy.
