Some cocktail aficionados will argue you can't stray from the traditional Dry Martini. But if the Vodka Martini was good enough for 007, it's good enough for us. But this cocktail made with vodka, dry vermouth, and orange bitters should be stirred, not shaken.
Chill a martini glass. Combine 2½ oz vodka, ½ oz dry vermouth and 2 dashes orange bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for about 30 seconds until very cold, strain into the chilled glass, and garnish with a lemon twist or a couple of olives.
